I'm Ron Mehringer, owner of DAS Directions LLC. With over twenty years in the wireless industry I've seen a lot of change. Most importantly, mobile phones have gone from being used by just a few to the default communications device of billions. Still, mobile coverage is not ubiquitous and it's often lacking in where we need it most.
Many indoor locations, such as offices, factories, hospitals and public spaces, simply lack the signal strength needed for mobile users to stay connected and productive. Solutions exist, in the form distributed antenna systems (DAS), but implementing them is complicated and requires specialized knowledge, which even the large telecom consulting firms often lack.
During my career I have been directly involved in hundreds of DAS projects, some of which are listed below. The insight and knowledge I've gained from these projects are what I bring to my clients.
